The Democratic Nominee for Pittsburgh’s 5th Council District
On November 8th, voters in Pittburgh’s 5th Council District will vote to fill the vacancy for City Council. We’re excited to share that our Democratic Nominee is Barb Warwick because Democratic committee members voted to nominate her for this upcoming special election.
Barb is a resident of Greenfield and she has worked to lift the voices of the community. She has advocated for neighborhood autonomy in the development of the Mon-Oakland connector, organized a petition to push for the opening of the Magee pool, and worked alongside other families at Greenfield School to raise funds for a playground. Barb is clearly willing to work hard and communicate with all the residents of the 5th District, being a voice for their concerns.
